Texas Drifter: Fox News Lying About Amnesty?

Marshall’s Law Dateline – Fox News seemingly ”consistently” reports there are only eleven million to twelve million illegal immigrants on American soil. Question theme this writing exercise, has Fox News “verified facts” reported to their audiences?

Reader might want to ask how low were the estimates, projected by Reagan’s 1986 Amnesty policies, compared to total number of illegal immigrants that eventually received amnesty. Some say amnesty approvals were twice what Reagan projected. Reader can do their own research.

Could observation be made that Reagan who was not inclined to lie to Americans was off by two or three times; that Obama, a known serial liar might be off four, five, or more times on number of illegal immigrants eventually receiving Amnesty?

Reader might also ask what percentage Reagan’s amnesties granted were obtained by fraud. Some suggest percentile could be higher than thirty-five percent. Anyone like to speculate what percentage of Amnesties granted by a pathological liar like Obama will be based on fraud?

Reader can do their own research to determine better estimates of how many illegal immigrants are currently on American soil. Consider following. (Excerpt)

How Many Illegal Aliens Are in the U.S.? - An Alternative Methodology for Discovering the Numbers
By Fred Elbel
Volume 17, Number 4 (Summer 2007)
Issue theme: "How many illegal aliens are in the U.S.?"
Summary:
The Department of Homeland Security estimated in December 2003 that 8 million to 12 million illegal aliens resided in the United States and 700,000 new illegals enter and stay each year. These official estimates are somewhat suspect and may represent significant undercounts, as they are produced by the very entity responsible for the tidal wave of illegal aliens entering our nation —the United States Government. An alternative methodology is used here to estimate a range of numbers of illegals that is likely more realistic.
This author has visited the Arizona border and has personally observed the situation on the ground. Border Patrol agents who were brave enough to share their own insights have stated that in their opinion, the Border Patrol is not apprehending anywhere close to one out of three or four illegal crossers, and that significantly larger numbers evade apprehension.7, 12, 14
Indeed, in July of 2005, the U.S. Border Patrol Local 2544 stated on their website that “There are currently 15 to 20 million illegal aliens in this country by many estimates, but the real numbers could be much higher and the numbers increase every day because our borders are not secure…” (End Excerpt)

Based on more likely numbers of still using conservative estimate; using at least one million illegal immigrants successfully entering and remaining in America each year since 2003. It seems possible that there could be perhaps as many as thirty million illegal immigrants on U.S. soil opposed to twelve million repeatedly cited by Fox News every year for past decade.

Reader might ask why Fox News does not appear to be reporting more accurate news about number of illegal immigrants on American soil. Could it be “lazy journalism”? Or, could it be Fox News’ loyalties are to special interest groups serving corporate fascist greed motivated lust? Reader can insert their own list of potential corporates fascists possibly like Chamber of Commerce or Wall Street interests.

Question, if Fox News lies about number of illegal immigrants on American soil; might Fox News also lie about other items of interests to Fox News audiences? Just asking, not accusing.

More questions Fox News might consider seeking answers using “truthful numbers”.
1. What are comparable violent crime ratios between illegal immigrants and U.S. citizens / legal residents?
2. Why does Fox News not identify illegal immigrants by “legal immigration status” when illegal immigrants commit or are accused of committing violent crimes; property crimes; DUI incidents; domestic violence cases plus other crimes against American citizens and legal residents?
3. Does Fox News consider more accurate information about numbers of illegal immigrants on American soil or identifying illegal immigrants involved in crimes to be political correct “compassionate” journalism to placate wishes of Republican establishment ruling class aristocrats?
4. Reader can create their own questions about who Fox News serves first, special interest groups or their audience members who lover, honor , and respect America, also known as Heaven’s favorite due process ethical capitalist constitutional republic.

Question - Journalists who ignore reporting “best truths” they can are both propagandists and accessories to evils their reports not only facilitate but also protect. TRUE or FALSE

Bonus question – There are three kinds of intelligence agents:
1. Those who tell clients what they want to hear;
2. Those who will not tell clients what clients need to hear;
3. Those that “lay it all on the table” – good, bad, indifferent.
TRUE or FALSE
