This writing exercise might be fewer words than other parts of this series. Why approaching weekend, Texas Drifter is feeling all writ out, plus being a part time teacher who is not a religious scholar; Texas drifter will leave Saturday and Sunday truths to Judeo-Christian religious scholars.
Repetition is good training tool. What do Obama and his allies plus Bush clan types share in common? Both Marxist-fascist Progressive Liberal Democrats and RINOs share one common trait. Both think they are “entitled” to enslave or control America’s middle class.
Obama and his allies believe they are genetically superior to peasants or worker ants masquerading as America’s middle class citizens. Bush clan and other RINOs believe the “blue blood” running through their veins entitles them to “divine rights of kings”. Translation, their “upper crust” status allows them to care for America’s pathetic mostly poor white trash middle class citizens.
Judeo-Christians and other patriots need to start reminding Obama and his allies, plus Bush clan RINOs that there is only one true God and it is neither Obama’s crowd or RINOs.
Question, if Heaven’s Son did not socialize with money lenders He cast out of Temple; why should America’s patriots socialize with those they need to cast from political power, in Heaven’s favorite constitutional republic?
Moving on to theme of this writing exercise; so what are reader’s future objective reality health care choices for their parents?
1) Abandon your parents to diminishing government “quality health care programs” for middle class elderly citizens; watch the government confiscate all of your parent’s property while turning your parents into paupers; and be a “helpless” witness to government warehousing your parents in some public subsidized rat infested nursing home staffed by minimum wage employees who are only working to collect welfare benefits.
2) Use your parents’ assets as collateral for “Parental Care Equity Trusts”.
The process works as follows: start with long term planning by having your parents turn over all but two thousand dollars of their assets to the most responsible of their children at least three years before the finances may be needed. This practice must be taken to comply with America’s seemingly unconstitutional Medicaid eligibility requirements which in many cases are determined by affirmative ethnic or racial backgrounds.
The introduction of the United States Constitution reads as follows:
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
The significance of this portion of America’s Constitution is that it defines in clear terms the Founding Fathers’ original intent for the Constitution.
Try to keep up; the words are “promote the general welfare” not promote individual or economic class welfare.
General welfare refers to government services like law enforcement and fire departments, not government give away programs to specific individuals or specific interest groups.
Medicaid eligibility requirements should be unconstitutional because of their discriminating against some citizens based on ethnic or racial heritages while providing services to non-citizens and not providing services for citizens which violates the general welfare clause of the Constitution.
Medicaid eligibility requirements should also be unconstitutional because their results create hostility by the victims of discrimination which does not insure domestic tranquility.
Should Medicaid eligibility requirements be unconstitutional? Why, by confiscating assets over two thousand dollars seemingly violates the Seventh Amendment of the Bill of Rights “where the value in controversy exceeds twenty dollars, the right to trial by jury shall be preserved.”
Your author has no illusions that constitutional integrity and oaths of office to “protect and defend” the Constitution have any value in political systems run by politicians who depend on collaboration and bipartisan compromises not constitutional integrity to get re-elected.
Having taken the oath to protect and defend the Constitution myself, I fully understand that there are, millions of reasons not to protect the constitution from all enemies “domestic and foreign”; but only one to uphold the oath taken before God, family, and country - it is the right thing to do.
Back to managing unconstitutional threats, continually recheck government regulations as greedy bureaucrats are always changing standards, to increase their salaries and pension benefits at the expense of America’s retired citizens. Better still vote against any politician who does not honor their oath of office.
Parental care equity trusts will serve America’s older citizens by allowing them to afford and choose quality health care services; while keeping their dignity by not becoming a government created and owned pauper.
Parental care equity trusts will also preserve the social and financial integrity of America’s families by allowing children the stay involved in their parent’s lives during their declining years.
Parental care equity trusts will strengthen America’s economy by keeping private property producing for the private sector; and out of the hands of socialist bureaucrats who having never worked in the private sector; and do not understand that national wealth is generated by private sector producers not money better known as taxes stolen from private citizens.
Every time some Progressive Democrats like Obama or RINOs talk about means testing Medicaid, Medicare, or Social Security they are parroting Marxist-fascist propaganda to buy votes from those who have not paid into health care systems like Medicaid which was intended to serve truly indigent not professional public subsidy addicts.
Not enacting parental care equity trusts could easily result in public bureaucrats cutting off fingers of elderly citizens to seize wedding or other rings. Why to confiscate assets worth more than two thousand dollar minimum or current asset limits established by government bureaucrat. Reader may be thinking that sounds extreme; how far backwards is it from public sector death panels to cutting off fingers of old people?

Brief notes another subject: never forget that the quality of care in any nursing home depends on frequency of family visits. Make frequent random visits. I went at least twice a day every day.
Get to know the administrators and staff. These people are caring for your parents, and should be viewed as friends, not adversaries.
Be prepared to defend the nursing home from government bureaucrats who are often more interested in exaggerating problems for personal merit raises than rewarding good patient services.
Remember older people occasionally fall down and hurt themselves, so don’t be looking to increase your bank balance with frivolous law suits.
Other than your self, it is quality nursing home staff that will be helping you make sure your parents receive quality care.
What were those lyrics, “God bless America with a light from above”? Is it possible that “light from above” might be used to help identify those serving and advocating for anti-Christ? It is not that really hard to recognize advocates and defenders of big government. Recall earlier observation that anti-Christ is big government. Perhaps that is why Texas Drifter has been known to refer to Satan or devil as itself?

If you had read my writing exercises from mid-nineties, you would already know that the primary goal of all city, county, state, and federal governments is to destroy America’s private sector middle class. The public sector exists to create more government programs for new subsidy addicts to justify higher taxes in its perpetual war against society’s private sector middle class.
Let’s start our learning scenario with both of your elderly parents living in their mortgage free home. Without warning, an untimely heart attack leads to your father’s untimely passing.
Your first dose of objective reality transpires when you discover that your parent’s prepaid life or burial insurance policies taken out decades ago; are either 1) not enough to cover funeral costs, or 2) have been transferred among so many different “bankrupt” or “sold” insurance companies that the policies are totally worthless.
Prevarications by government insurance boards that such events never occur will not ease your unexpected financial burdens. The bottom line is that you will have to come up with minimum five thousand to eight thousand dollars to cover your father’s funeral expenses.
Wishing to not get caught off guard again, you either use your savings or take out a note for eight thousand dollars with one hundred dollar a month payments for pre burial costs for your surviving parent.
Your second dose of objective reality occurs when you discover that Social Security is a welfare program not a retirement investment account. You learn this lesson when your surviving parent’s monthly benefits are reduced by approximately sixty percent.
Since America’s socialist Supreme Court has ruled that Social Security “contributions” are taxes not investment funds; all the hard earned money paid into the system by your father will go to fund bureaucrat benefits not assist your mother.
The end result being that you have to come up with another eight hundred to thousand dollars a month to maintain your surviving parent’s basic needs.
The third dose of objective reality comes when you get a bill from the hospital for twenty thousand dollars to cover the balance of your father’s medical bills while he was in the hospital.
Since you drove your father to the hospital and signed him in; and Medicare only covers eighty percent, you now owe the hospital the balance of your dying father’s medical bills.
You protest the medical bills, and the hospital places a lien on your house and ruins your credit rating.
The fourth dose of objective reality happens when you decide to take out supplemental insurance for your mother to cover the Medicare deficiency. The premiums start out at one hundred twenty five dollars a month, but can rise to over five hundred dollars a month within the first year.
The fifth dose of objective reality stuns you when you learn that the cost of a home care worker (whose only skills are calling 911) to stay with your mother start at about four thousand dollars a month.
Since most middle class families cannot afford four thousand dollar a month for home care services for their parents, you or your spouse (if you have one) start making frequent checks during the day on your surviving parent. A better option than hiring a home care worker, since it only cost you a fifteen hundred dollar a month cut in take home pay from your job.
What about government, home care programs, an accurate quote by a real live bureaucrat: Since you have been helping your mother by paying her bills; she doesn’t qualify for “the people’s” assistance. “The only way you can get assistance for her is to break one of her legs and abandon her at a police station without any forms of identification.” (Do not snicker, it has actually happened.)
Texas Drifter knows of a case in Texas where Adult Protective Services offered a child two one way plane tickets out of Texas for them and their parent, because they were “tired” of providing services to an “ungrateful client”.
The sixth dose of objective reality ensues with monthly random double digit increases of insurance premiums, utility bills, transportation costs, medicines, property taxes, and other failed public sector policies which cause higher market prices.
The seventh dose of objective reality will be the loss of your personal time. You and or your spouse can expect to add another eighty plus hours a week to your routine work schedule; either making money or providing care to your surviving parent just to keep them in their own home.
This issue raises an interesting question: If parents ship their children off to day care, are the children morally obligated to help their parents stay in their own home as long as possible?
The eighth dose of objective reality will be the your amazement at the amount of mental and physical stress you are able to manage in doing the right thing by caring for your surviving parent
As for help from your friends, they all have their own parents to take care of. You will realize that you are beyond middle age when the primary topic with your friends evolves from your children’s antics to taking care of your parents.
A preliminary summary, in addition to at least eighty to ninety hours a week of your time; you will probably need enough in savings to cover sixty percent of your parents current expenses, and fifty percent of your own expenses.
In the preceding scenario, the average middle class family will probably need an estimated additional twenty thousand dollars a year for at least five to seven years to maintain existing life styles for both them and their surviving parents.
Other problems encountered by children trying to keep their parents in their parents’ home include:
1) City, county, school, and other confiscatory property taxes designed to force senior citizens on fixed incomes out of their homes and into poverty; so that bureaucrats can acquire the property for a fraction of its value in rigged auctions.
2) Laws like those in Texas which prevent people living outside city limits to use private property as collateral for parental health care equity loans.
3) Threats from government agencies to arrest the children for “abandoning” their parents if the children go to work to have a “paycheck” to qualify for a home equity loan to obtain private nursing home care for their parents.
Private sector middle class baby boomers who, plan on taking care of their own families and their parents with a one family income will end up financial losers.
This being said, there is truth in the moral adage that it is easier to accept a parent’s passing for those who “honor thy father and mother” by being there during their decline.

I will give you the highlights as I remember them. This is a Mission of our church and is made up of professional and paraprofessional medically trained individuals that want to give back to the community.
This is a voluntary non paid mission that is supported by the local church. There was a little bit of training that was done by the Presbytery and it involved mostly administrative and safety check lists.
What the nurses do; using check lists provided:
1) Insured there were no dangerous situation in the nursery and child related locations in the church. Cleaning the toys used in kinder garden and hand, sanitary infection control.
2) Getting and storing important medical information on some of the older members of the church, taking blood pressure, heart rate and temperature when needed.
3) Reviewing medications to insure they are compatible and member was taking them correctly.
4) Keeping the first aid kit up to date and well stocked.
5) Checking on the ill members of the congregation.
6) Installing and defibrillator and providing instruction.
On three occasions that I can remember, calling the ambulance for and caring for members until it arrived. That is all I can remember as of now, if I should recall anything else today I will forward it to you. (End insert)

Texas Drifter: Private Sector Dark Side of Obama Care - Part I
Marshall’s Law Dateline – Part I “Private Sector Dark Side of Obama Care” Introduction begins a six part series originally entitled “Let Them Eat Granite” which provides insights into contemporary America’s health care for truly indigent not public subsidy addicts, and America’s older citizens. Parts II through V represent earlier writings “Let Them Eat Granite” while Part VI a non-fiction short story is entitled “Lost Good Years”.
Contemporary examples will reflect America as no longer being a country dominated by its Judeo-Christian traditions, values, and principles. Perhaps Americans should turn away from depending on evil among us, Marxist-fascist Progressive Liberal Democrats, RINOs, their allies and collaborators.
On to this six part writing exercise theme. Obama, his administration, along with RINOs are both stopping and cutting back re-imbursements for public medical services, mostly to middle class and veterans. While these changes are causing some to get out of private health care industry, changes are also turning some other private health care professionals into thieves (not saying “all” rather “some” enough for consumers to be warned). Results of these practices are creation of predators for quick profits which approach private and public health care services both based on fraud.
Examples
1. Case, doctor informed patient they had cancer and doctor had already scheduled surgery; second opinion after more tests indicated patient did not have cancer and only needed different diet.
2. Different case, different doctor informed patient they had cancer and needed immediate surgery; second opinion indicated patient did not have cancer and only needed certain medicines and different diet.
3. Third unrelated case, different doctor informed patient they had life threatening cancer and needed surgery; after surgery, patient learned they did not have pre-cancer or need surgery.
4. Case, doctor and his referral informed patient he needed pace maker as soon as possible. Second opinion, all patient needed was change of diet and new exercise routine – two years later patient is healthier than they have been for years with out pace maker.
Common denominator for all four above cases was patients had “great” health insurance policies.
5. Hospitals are setting up their own non-profit organizations to help cover costs of indigent health care by seeking tax write off donations; then after covering patients’ bills with donations; hospitals sell patient’s notes to bill collectors to make profits on indigents’ health care bills.
6. Increasing costs of patients’ tests up by five hundred percent to thousand percent.
7. Doubling patients’ prescription costs by one hundred percent or more.
8. Emergency rooms engage in minimal admission health care at inflated costs then dismiss patient so they can “go die somewhere else” knowing full well patient will not receive additional health care.
9. Reader can add own examples of private sector predator health care policies.
Some solutions
1. Minimum two sometimes three “diagnosis” evaluations.
2. Patient can get “prescription” for tests then find own testing “source” which reports test results to their physician. (Savings can be one hundred percent or more.)
3. Just because patient pays less or has good insurance for services does not mean services are needed.
4. Just because patient “settles” bill, does not mean unpaid balance will not be sold to bill collector which can ruin patient’s credit history. Patient should get in writing that account will be settled in full. Lawyer can answer, if facility later sells “unpaid bill”; if facility should be sued for slander or libel depending on attorney’s advice. Everyone seems to hate “shark” attorneys until they need their services.
5. Shop around for medical services especially lowest prescription prices.
6. Especially good idea provided by Texas Drifter reader for older citizens, first start my making copy of prescription note from doctor. Leave prescription with pharmacist; when picking up prescription; save receipts; take order to possibly retired volunteer nurses at church or community center to make sure quantity, dosage, and picked up medicines match those on copy of original prescription. More details of program can be provided later. One thing to closely examine is quantity of “heavy pain killer meds”. Why shorting each prescription few or more pills, provides good black market supply for re-sale.
7. Have someone, like nurses seeking to make extra money are good at reviewing medical bills.
8. Have doctor explain your: medical condition; cause of medical condition; treatment of medical condition; possible outcome of treatment; and all options in language you can understand not in terms only another doctor could understand. Remember medical professionals are your client/s. Also explain to doctor that you want honesty not feel good flower excrement. There is truth in concept that reason many doctors get sued in health care industry is their rude obnoxious “bed side manner”.
9. Reader should avoid “prescription cocktails” for their loved ones which can occurs; when doctors prescribe medications with out checking what other doctors serving same patient have prescribed.
10. As always, reader can add to list.
Reader should also consider opposing non-accountable legislation for health care professional individuals being incompetent or negligent. Such legislation excludes those not accountable. Entire neighborhoods do not get cited because one person receives speeding ticket.
Good honest private health care professionals are not the problem. These individuals need to be compensated for their skills and expertise. Problem is public sector interference in private healthcare market place; plus incompetent, greedy, corrupt private sector health care predators.
Recall societies are judged by quality of indigent health care. In South Texas, there are some Mexican doctors allowed to practice in America; whose business and diagnosis practices are guided by ethnic prejudices and contempt for non-Hispanic indigent and older patients. Processes should be established to identify and prohibit these ethnic and race haters from practicing health care in America.
Reader needs to understand that getting old is not for wussies. Patients still have to deal with health care mess created by Obama’s Medicare death squads; and Texas Governor Perry’s Medicaid death panels. Perry’s Medicaid death panels use “appeals” processes to delay entitled benefits until patient dies to save Texas coffers money. How much of a low life does one have to be for Perry’s bureaucrats to kill injured or disabled for merit raises? Reader can come up with their own answer.
Reader might ask why Texas Drifter writes about Private Sector Dark Side of Obama Care? Answer is simple; Marxist-fascist Progressive Liberal Democrats like Obama and their closet allies RINOs are always trying to assassinate America’s Judeo-Christian traditions, values, principles, ethical capitalism, core documents, and middle class on many, many other fronts beyond gun control, and amnesty for cheap labor.
Translation: that’s right soul less children born of female canines and Satin itself are trying to destroy Heaven’s favorite republic on as many fronts as evil among us can.

Marshall’s Law Dateline – Part I “Private Sector Dark Side of Obama Care” Introduction begins a six part series originally entitled “Let Them Eat Granite” which provides insights into contemporary America’s health care for truly indigent not public subsidy addicts, and America’s older citizens. Parts II through V represent earlier writings “Let Them Eat Granite” while Part VI a non-fiction short story is entitled “Lost Good Years”.
Contemporary examples will reflect America as no longer being a country dominated by its Judeo-Christian traditions, values, and principles. Perhaps Americans should turn away from depending on evil among us, Marxist-fascist Progressive Liberal Democrats, RINOs, their allies and collaborators.
On to this six part writing exercise theme. Obama, his administration, along with RINOs are both stopping and cutting back re-imbursements for public medical services, mostly to middle class and veterans. While these changes are causing some to get out of private health care industry, changes are also turning some other private health care professionals into thieves (not saying “all” rather “some” enough for consumers to be warned). Results of these practices are creation of predators for quick profits which approach private and public health care services both based on fraud.
Examples
1. Case, doctor informed patient they had cancer and doctor had already scheduled surgery; second opinion after more tests indicated patient did not have cancer and only needed different diet.
2. Different case, different doctor informed patient they had cancer and needed immediate surgery; second opinion indicated patient did not have cancer and only needed certain medicines and different diet.
3. Third unrelated case, different doctor informed patient they had life threatening cancer and needed surgery; after surgery, patient learned they did not have pre-cancer or need surgery.
4. Case, doctor and his referral informed patient he needed pace maker as soon as possible. Second opinion, all patient needed was change of diet and new exercise routine – two years later patient is healthier than they have been for years with out pace maker.
Common denominator for all four above cases was patients had “great” health insurance policies.
5. Hospitals are setting up their own non-profit organizations to help cover costs of indigent health care by seeking tax write off donations; then after covering patients’ bills with donations; hospitals sell patient’s notes to bill collectors to make profits on indigents’ health care bills.
6. Increasing costs of patients’ tests up by five hundred percent to thousand percent.
7. Doubling patients’ prescription costs by one hundred percent or more.
8. Emergency rooms engage in minimal admission health care at inflated costs then dismiss patient so they can “go die somewhere else” knowing full well patient will not receive additional health care.
9. Reader can add own examples of private sector predator health care policies.
Some solutions
1. Minimum two sometimes three “diagnosis” evaluations.
2. Patient can get “prescription” for tests then find own testing “source” which reports test results to their physician. (Savings can be one hundred percent or more.)
3. Just because patient pays less or has good insurance for services does not mean services are needed.
4. Just because patient “settles” bill, does not mean unpaid balance will not be sold to bill collector which can ruin patient’s credit history. Patient should get in writing that account will be settled in full. Lawyer can answer, if facility later sells “unpaid bill”; if facility should be sued for slander or libel depending on attorney’s advice. Everyone seems to hate “shark” attorneys until they need their services.
5. Shop around for medical services especially lowest prescription prices.
6. Especially good idea provided by Texas Drifter reader for older citizens, first start my making copy of prescription note from doctor. Leave prescription with pharmacist; when picking up prescription; save receipts; take order to possibly retired volunteer nurses at church or community center to make sure quantity, dosage, and picked up medicines match those on copy of original prescription. More details of program can be provided later. One thing to closely examine is quantity of “heavy pain killer meds”. Why shorting each prescription few or more pills, provides good black market supply for re-sale.
7. Have someone, like nurses seeking to make extra money are good at reviewing medical bills.
8. Have doctor explain your: medical condition; cause of medical condition; treatment of medical condition; possible outcome of treatment; and all options in language you can understand not in terms only another doctor could understand. Remember medical professionals are your client/s. Also explain to doctor that you want honesty not feel good flower excrement. There is truth in concept that reason many doctors get sued in health care industry is their rude obnoxious “bed side manner”.
9. Reader should avoid “prescription cocktails” for their loved ones which can occurs; when doctors prescribe medications with out checking what other doctors serving same patient have prescribed.
10. As always, reader can add to list.
Reader should also consider opposing non-accountable legislation for health care professional individuals being incompetent or negligent. Such legislation excludes those not accountable. Entire neighborhoods do not get cited because one person receives speeding ticket.
Good honest private health care professionals are not the problem. These individuals need to be compensated for their skills and expertise. Problem is public sector interference in private healthcare market place; plus incompetent, greedy, corrupt private sector health care predators.
Recall societies are judged by quality of indigent health care. In South Texas, there are some Mexican doctors allowed to practice in America; whose business and diagnosis practices are guided by ethnic prejudices and contempt for non-Hispanic indigent and older patients. Processes should be established to identify and prohibit these ethnic and race haters from practicing health care in America.
Reader needs to understand that getting old is not for wussies. Patients still have to deal with health care mess created by Obama’s Medicare death squads; and Texas Governor Perry’s Medicaid death panels. Perry’s Medicaid death panels use “appeals” processes to delay entitled benefits until patient dies to save Texas coffers money. How much of a low life does one have to be for Perry’s bureaucrats to kill injured or disabled for merit raises? Reader can come up with their own answer.
Reader might ask why Texas Drifter writes about Private Sector Dark Side of Obama Care? Answer is simple; Marxist-fascist Progressive Liberal Democrats like Obama and their closet allies RINOs are always trying to assassinate America’s Judeo-Christian traditions, values, principles, ethical capitalism, core documents, and middle class on many, many other fronts beyond gun control, and amnesty for cheap labor.
Translation: that’s right soul less children born of female canines and Satin itself are trying to destroy Heaven’s favorite republic on as many fronts as evil among us can.
