Texas Drifter: Sunshine Patriot Not Compliment
Marshall’s Law Dateline – There are different kinds or types of patriots.
Two American founding patriots’ comments about sunshine patriots, first Thomas Paine:
“These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot, will in this crisis, shrink from the service of his (their) country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell is not easily conquered;”
Other words include those of “Reverend Samuel Davies preached a sermon on the “Curse of Cowardice” in the same county in which Patrick was born. A sermon a part of which follows below, and which many argue had great influence on Patrick H. and Henry Clay.”
“The mean, sneaking wretch, that can desert the cause of his country in such an exigency; his country, and the blessings in which he shared, while in peace and prosperity; that cowardly, ungrateful wretch sins against God and his country and, deserves the curse of both … You that love your country, enlist; for honor will follow you in life or death in such a cause.”
Examples supported by modern day sunshine patriots include those who believe that words by vain cult leaders, and or attorney’s legal actions would have or would change actions of a Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Chavez, or possibly even Obama whose public record ignores rulings by federal judges.
Problem with most conservative celebrity hosts and columnists is their vanity makes them dangerously naïve. How, by causing conservative celebrities to believe they can always use their words to convince tyrants to change and become nice leaders.
If America’s Founding Fathers had been naïve, they would not have included Second Amendment partially based on “America’s Lost Second Tradition Found”. (All Right Magazine) Sample excerpt (Act of Abjuration July 26 1581): Earthly king is no longer earthly king rather only a tyrant; particularly when tyrant’s actions are deliberate, people may not only disallow his authority but follow what law of nature dictates for the defense of their liberty and their posterity even at hazard of people’s lives.
Recent example of sunshine patriots in 1940’s: “You are such a pessimist, see Hitler is building us showers, not gas chambers”.
Question for reader, are you willing to lose America without a whimper; or are you more likely to struggle until end what ever that is, using all resources provided by America’s Founding Fathers?
Question, why have ministers not significantly reduced abortions in America? Clue, preaching to the choir for donations rather than ministering to sinners might be one explanation. What was old country song with lyrics about never seeing Jesus wearing Rolex watch?
Reflection, as this writing exercise is being written, in few hours one hundred seventy-seven years ago 183 patriots paid with their lives for every Future Texans’ liberties. Guess sunshine patriot is someone who lets others stand; fight; and die for their inalienable rights. Pretty wussie ...
Recent contemporary issue questions whether U.S. President or any other federal, state, local “politico” can order domestic law enforcement to “expedite for convenience” murdering American citizens in lieu of their Constitutional due processes on American soil?
Well trained SWAT teams and disciplined snipers are good self defense tools just like guns. Poorly trained undisciplined SWAT teams and snipers serving tyrants are cold blooded murderous paramilitary units.
What is difference between not using U.S. military and using domestic law enforcement para-military SWAT teams in above scenarios? None, citizens are just as dead in both scenarios. Answer to could Obama use domestic law enforcement SWAT teams to murder innocent citizens? Why not, Bush I. did at Ruby Ridge; while Clinton did at Waco.
Why is Texas Drifter adding “sunshine patriots” to list of bad guy players effecting conservatives future? List includes Obama and his allies; Aristocrat ruling elite Republicans like those supporting following example; collaborators; sunshine patriots; and others reader can list.

Other sources reported: The House on Wednesday voted to continue funding the government past March 27, a bill that would avert another showdown over a potential government shutdown.
The so-called “continuing resolution” vote had the support of all but 14 Republicans.
Those 14 Republicans tended to come from the libertarian and tea party wings of the party. They were: Reps. Justin Amash (Mich.), Jim Bridenstine (Okla.), Paul Broun (Ga.), Ron DeSantis (Fla.), Scott DesJarlais (Tenn.), John Duncan (Tenn.), Phil Gingrich (Ga.), Louie Gohmert (Tex.), Jack Kingston (Ga.), Tom Massie (Ky.), Tom McClintock (Calif.), Bill Posey (Fla.), Matt Salmon (Ariz.) and Steve Stockman (Tex.).
Republican House leaders, Speaker John Boehner (Ohio), Majority Leader Eric Cantor (Va.) and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) voted in favor of the measure. (End excerpts news sources)
Observation, saving Heaven’s favorite Constitutional republic depends on patriots who can be trusted with America’s future. It seems obvious that Sunshine patriots like Boehner and other Republicans who voted for Continuous Resolution can not and should not be trusted with America’s future.
Reader’s assignment is to list sunshine patriots among Republican Senators in U.S. Senate.
