Texas Drifter Changing Doctors In Mid-Stream?

Marshall’s Law Dateline – Question why would reader want to consider changing doctors in middle of health care process? Disclaimer, Texas Drifter is not a medical doctor or attorney, following writing exercise just present ideas to consider.

Answer includes several possibilities:
1. Perhaps reader feels doctor has prematurely “given up” on patient and is willing to “let life take its course” and let patient die. Brutal reality, occasionally few doctors would rather let their patients die than accept outside advice which might illustrate primary care physicians in competencies.
2. Perhaps reader feels doctor is acting like doctor knows more than God or has bed side manner of a feral hog; as doctor will not discuss patient’s condition or health care options with any “unwashed” patient or member of their family.
3. Perhaps doctor is practicing beyond their area of expertise or area of specialization.
4. Perhaps doctor is acting incompetently due to insufficient training, work experiences, tired or having a bad day, or other personal distractions.
5. Perhaps doctor is motivated by racist or minority ethnic hatred towards certain individuals.
6. Perhaps doctor is motivated by “short cuts” greed.
7. Reader can add to list of other possible reasons doctor may not be providing best professional services.

Reader’s few possible solutions to above doctor inadequacies.
1. Contact other doctors, nurses, medical-professionals like case managers from preferably other medical centers for independent second, third, or more health care opinions.
2. Reader might want to contact medical professionals from other medical facilities or institutions. Example, doctor works at ABC Hospital and is on board of directors or has friends on board of ABC Hospital. Reader might wish to contact medical professionals from a different hospital than ABC. Reader might even choose to contact medical professionals in different geographic region as doctors at ABC Hospital might have golfing buddies with doctors geographically close to ABC Hospital.
3. Reader might also contact their insurance carrier if such a decision seems appropriate. Though primary objectives might include having patient immediately transferred to another medical facility in life threatening circumstances; objectives which might be objected too by ABC Hospital which might require reader obtaining legal services. Why ABC Hospital might prefer patient not be moved to cover up ABC’s medical negligence. Preceding event can happen more than reader suspects. 4. If reader does not have finances for obtaining other opinions; reader can always ask doctor as last resort: Is that what you are going to wear on six o’clock news? Doctor with all respect, if you do not professionally answer all my questions in words I can understand; I will call every member of news media and tell them you are trying to kill my loved one and will not tell me why.

Reader may think and many doctors will no doubt concur that some of above observations seem unfairly harsh. Reader need ask only one question: is doctor working for you or are you working for the doctor? Not improper question about highly trained well paid professionals sometime stressed medical professionals who cannot re-establish any life their negligence ends. Regardless of what anyone says, even though doctors are human beings in stress filled careers they are not comparable to witch doctors in past times or God in contemporary times.

Texas Drifter note about in progress writing exercise: Should Nurnberg type trials be held, and civil liability claims be filed against Social Security Administration workers and administrators who delay or are delaying “entitled” benefits to allow applicants time to die to reduce Social Security expenditures? Translation, premature greed contributing to premature death is a capital offense which demands due process justice in most civilized societies.

Reader’s assignment, first estimate how many Social Security genocide victims have been bureaucratically murdered to reduce benefit costs to increase public sector wages and benefits? Readers’ second assignment: List things you plan to ask your loved ones health care providers next time your loved ones need health care providers.
