Texas Drifter Affirmative Action For NFL?

Marshall’s Law Townhall Dateline – Another unfunded research study determines bad roots produce poison fruits. Said another way, one harvests what one plants, old adage paraphrased Texas Drifter's older mind cannot remember original source.

On to research study report. Affirmative action may be tolerable for educators, social workers and other paper shuffling desk pilots with jobs that cannot be measured with objective success or failure standards. Affirmative action policies are not tolerable or acceptable for jobs involved in life and death scenarios. Specific examples: emergency rescue services, law enforcement, judicial services, or national security where rules are rules of survival.

Translation, affirmative action and slavery are synonyms based on non due process unequal political advantages over others. Americans did not fight their bloodiest war in 1860’s to replace one form of slavery based on race for another system based on special privileges for race, ethnic heritage, gender, or latest victim of month whining campaign.

Texas Drifter enjoys ranch scout security employment in South Texas brush country called “monte”. Why, one of several reasons is that affirmative action policies are not part of work environment. Rules of survival apply equally to all Heaven’s creatures: Texas Drifter, Whitetail deer, Diamondback rattlesnakes, feral hogs, coyotes, mountain lions, and all other critters.

Rules are simple: get careless, be stupid, or act foolishly; no compassion from climate, terrain, or life in general, as consequences involve getting hurt or being killed. Often getting hurt means incredibly slow painful death and being crippled which makes getting caught by another critter for their supper easier.

Monte environment is totally different than Affirmative Action policies which generally result in incompetent employees being promoted up organization as it is easier to promote an incompetent fool up organization than fire them.

Now you know why Obama, his Administration and bureaucracy appear to be so incredibly moronically stupid, incompetent, and unable to mange public agencies. Easiest example, Obama’s Administration and federal bureaucracy reacting to recent Gulf of Mexico oil spill to limit environmental damage to minimum. When unqualified employees get jobs based on affirmative Action and then get promoted rather than fired; another old adage scum rises to top.

In the real world there are two endings surviving and losing. In amateur tournaments there are three endings: first, second and thanks for showing up also known as honorable mention. Professional sports like real world scenarios praise the winner not second or honorable mention finishers. Professional sports competitions are determined by best performances not best talkers or Affirmative Action policies.

Political victory in last Presidential election went to best talker and best liar based on unearned Affirmative Action experiences not truth or honesty learned from real world work experiences or accomplishments. It should be no surprise that “hollow suits” or charlatans like Obama and his charity promoted Affirmative Action followers with their “welfare successes” would be most inclined to engage in calling those who earned their successes racists and other derogatory terms.

Texas Drifter wishing to be politically correct will only disparage Obama’s “white genes”, not Obama’s "black genes". Could one make the case that Obama’s white genes might be described as white hillbilly trash in some social circles? What else could one say about a white person who turned out to be an America last chronic lying morally bankrupt communist whose policies are nationalize every and all American private industries, while destroying the national security of the country that gave him undeserved unearned opportunities?

The only politically correct criticism one can make about Obama is that he is doing best one can expect from one of society’s perpetual victims.

Question for defenders of Affirmative Action policies, if concept of Affirmative Action is so wonderful; should not Affirmative Action be applied to professional sports? If Affirmative Action is good for public school educators, social workers, and other public servants; why should what is good for public sector not be good for private sector?

Consider Affirmative Action policies being applied “on court” for professional basketball teams. Perhaps team composition on court for each side could be: two Whites, one Black, one Hispanic, and one illegal immigrant preferably of Asian descent.

Let us expand the process to NFL or professional football for foreign readers. Perhaps team composition on field at all time for both teams could be: four Whites, two Blacks, two Hispanics, one Asian descent, one gay player, and one trans-gender player.

Oh no, politically correct Affirmative Action percentages for NFL are going to take longer than this author thought, as above does not include physically challenged, mentally challenged, or the aged and over sixty-five. This problem is way too complicated for one person like Texas Drifter to resolve in one writing exercise.

Perhaps professional sports should just be left way they are until Obama’s Affirmative Action Administration and bureaucrats have some two thousand plus page legislation that professional sports fans will be able to read after Obama signs bill into law.

In closing, many citizens who are professional sports fans enjoy professional sports as entertainment to be entertained away from their lives. These same people spend hard earned income to attend entertainment events for relief from increasing real world problems. If sports teams owners and sports team players are going to abuse fans by dragging political arenas into sports arenas; maybe sports fans should consider signing petition to introduce Affirmative Action laws into professional sports.

If professional sports were to hire players and athletes based on quotas of: race, ethnic background, appearances, gender, age, last name or anything else other than skill and ability, professional sports would no doubt suffer as it will if team owners and players do not keep political arenas out of sports arenas.
