Texas Drifter Ranking America’s Health Care
Marshall’s Law Townhall Dateline – Following covert anecdote report by Texas Drifter, intends to dispel some myths about American health care zealously advocated from two different sides: Obama Leninist Nationalist Fascist Socialist Democrats and celebrity conservative radio talk show hosts.
Brief background of anecdote author, Texas Drifter: sixty-one year old of European ancestry, never married, no children, no surviving family whose ancestors migrated to America in 1630’s. Texas Drifter was recruited by intelligence services in 1968 to infiltrate communist elements in anti-war movement. The assignment resulted in beginning of a career in intelligence gathering, investigations, and private security industries; Marshall as called by his friends still holds license to by State of Texas to teach private sector classes “Art and Ethics of Surveillance.”
Texas Drifter still enjoys taking low profile projects to get on scene view of America’s “cultural soul.” Marshall’s claims one of his toughest projects was infiltrating illegal immigrants work market as “white trash” to get better view of those employing illegal immigrants. Texas Drifter states that perhaps his most dangerous work in four decades has been being “old white man not receiving welfare” trying to get health care from America’s health care system.
Moving on ranking America’s health care system into following categories:
1. Those paying cash get best services and best prices for services;
2. Those blending cash with private health insurance get better than average care with some of highest prices;
3. Those paying with cash with public health care insurance tend to pay less with highest bills and slightly less than average care;
4. Those depending totally on government paid health care like Medicaid who pay no cash, get lowest quality health care since health care providers have no incentive to do better as they know they will only be partially reimbursed by government for their services at some unknown time in future when government feels like paying bills;
5. Those receiving very worst health care if any, tend to be low income Anglos trying to preserve “what little dignity they have left” by not becoming “welfare slaves” by receiving public subsidies.
Above system describes ethical to unethical capitalist services. As far as Obama’s nationalist fascist Marxist pending health care system, interested parties can visit Cuba to learn what realities to expect compared to Obama’s propaganda machine.

Following is based on conversation with Texas drifter whose identity is not as important as his experiences with America’s health care industry. Event’s geography: one Rio Grande Valley, Texas county. The city involved has two hospitals, one for profit which only serves those with sufficient assets, which is fine as they are upfront about their motives.
Other hospital is "non-profit" which is supposed to support those financially embarrassed. VBMC admission policies are as follows:
1. health insurance
2. welfare like Medicare / Medicaid
3. emergencies including emergency basic care for illegal immigrants
4. cash
5. financing for those with jobs or assets worth seizing
Those with spare change jobs are denied services unless they can come up with down payments or deposits which they obviously can not afford. Consider real world anecdote of old Anglo Texas drifter. This man needed minor surgery that could become fatal without surgery in twelve months. His annual average earnings from spare change part time jobs averaged about thousand dollars year.
The old man preferred self sufficiency to public charity and becoming ward of state. A traditional value that America’s “world owes me” baby boomers who consider welfare a civil right will never understand so why waste time trying to explain any tradition to what Lenin called “useful idiots”.
Back to old Texas drifter’s story, VBMC financial worker essentially told him to come up with three thousand dollar deposit or go away. The man told me that if he could hang on till next year, which he probably could not; he would have down payment money and be able to make payments from his Social Security which started then; money which he did not mind taking as he had paid into the program his entire life.
The same hospital has a reputation of calling taxis to take financially embarrassed “where ever” and leave them to get them out of hospital. Other rumors, factious or not abound that one trail lawyer could build an entire career from other negligent conduct of hospital staff. Have not seen old man lately perhaps he found a non-profit hospital that does not believe charity ends with helping people getting government welfare.
You know how Texas Drifter enjoys irony. If Jesus Disciples were still ministering on planet earth, and needed medical care; could they get the medical care they needed from Valley Baptist Medical Center? Not judging just asking the question.
This true anecdote is not about VBMC changing their policies that is their free will choice management decision. What Texas Drifter is wondering, where is line of common decency? Perhaps VBMC can stop trashing names of good Baptists by changing its name to Valley Obama Medical Center?
Second example: Health care methodology for one “old white man not receiving welfare living on about one hundred twenty dollars month; reduce high blood pressure by not administering any tests of any kind, rather using “hit and miss” system by trying different “kinds of pills”. To R.H. M. Clinic, they did well with drug identified as “Exforge” and got the man’s health more or less back to normal.
Staff then learned old man was trying to “scrape” together enough money for minor but life saving operation so an administrative decision was apparently made to refuse service and further medication to old man living on about hundred and twenty dollars month unless he paid for office visits and tests that were designed to show the medicine was working; and he would additionally start paying two hundred dollars month for medication. Charitable thinking for individual clinic knew was living on about thirty dollars a week.
When the old man asked for help in contacting pharmaceutical manufacturer of “Exforge”, he was told clinics do not help patients get medicine like that. Seems like clinic was trying to get money old man was trying to save for operation at VBMC like in example one.

Cameron County government competed with scam artists for unethical behavior award. It seems public sector rescue teams only checked on Hispanic families while failing to see if Anglo families needed help. Isolated conduct of unintentional racism against Anglos by government, included government only spraying Hispanic home sites for mosquitoes while totally ignoring Anglo home sites.
Government officials and bureaucrats will deny discrimination against Anglos, but why should anyone believe Democrats and Republicans known for trading votes from minority voters for discrimination against Anglos? How consumed by hate does one have to be to not offer rescue services to storm victims because of ethnic background? How consumed by hate does one have to be to subject people to hordes of mosquitoes because of ethnic background?
Professions are not immune from evolutionary societal changes. In old days doctors and nurses were disciples for health care; today doctors, nurses, and assorted technicians seem to be in business for profits by way of health care which is fine. Less than appropriate example, strumpets are in business to make money by way of providing temporary companionship.
Nothing wrong for health care professionals to provide health care services for money; provided the do not try to pass off their services being for anything other than financial gain. Many Americans would better understand and have more respect for health care providers if they had similar signs in their offices: Have to make money to pay bills; poor white people go somewhere else to die.
Future issues for parts of America’s profits first health care industry: first consumer health care services suffering from inadequate management skills, and second negligence’s from poorly trained under educated support staff. Imagine America’s health care system modeled after America’s public education system. Now even that is depressing for Texas Drifter.
First solution for improving America’s retail health care services industry is for “patients” to become knowledgeable consumers demanding best services for best prices and accepting nothing less. Ranking America’s health care system like most things in life; quality depends on disposable purchase assets. Translation: more cash you have better health care you receive, less cash one has especially if they are Anglos not on public welfare less health care they receive.
Closing thoughts for all you whining socialist “world owes me” public subsidy addicts: tax dollars are supposed to be spent for common good; not covering private citizens’ everyday living expenses.
