"Texas Drifter's Thanksgiving"

There is nothing in the Bill of Rights or Constitution that declares private citizens to be wards of any government. Public sector bureaucrats are not the peoples’ natural guardians. Threats to individual liberties are directly related to increases of any government's powers. Citizens who allow bureaucrats to become custodians of their rights are fools volunteering to be slaves.

The assignment was a way to make a few extra dollars during the holidays. Texas Drifter was appointed to settle the affairs of a recently deceased derelict.

Describing the deceased's efficiency apartment is an easy exercise in recalling on scene details. The residence was one room that consisted of half a kitchen, small dinning area, a smaller living area with a couch that folds out into a bed (opened); a small black and white television with a coat hangar for an antenna sitting on a cardboard box next to the door that entered the bathroom.

The rest room can best be described as a public sector facility at a downtown bus station that had not been cleaned for twenty years. The hide away bed was covered with clothes for sheets, and part of the carpet from the floor which was being used as a blanket.

There are no words to describe the apartment's smell; possibly because the clothes closet was being used as an in-house dumpster. The left sink was filled with dirty pans, plates, and silverware. The right sink was brimming over with empty bean and dog food cans.

Next to the moldy generic bean and quality dog food cans set a pancake hot plate which contained one can of half opened beans and one half opened can of dog food. It was later learned that the deceased had been using the hot plate to warm the beans and dog food before mixing them into a bowl known as ghetto chile.

A handwritten note was found behind the hot plate that said, "Remove paper labels before heating to prevent fire". Your instructor was almost afraid to open the refrigerator. Utter amazement cannot describe how this later surveillance instructor felt when he discovered that the interior of the icebox was cleaner than most hospital operating rooms.

What I found was a sanitized refrigerator full of prescription drugs arranged by names of those who had been prescribed the medications. It was later learned that the deceased had taken it upon himself to store and administer medications for the area's homeless population.

The freezer unit of the icebox contained what appeared to be the deceased's private papers, along with some type of diary. At this point, the instructor started looking for a place to sit down and review the new found documents.

The apartment's curtains had been replaced with the most recent Sunday newspaper comics. These paper curtains provided the only color and access for light to the otherwise dimly lit apartment. While dragging a chair over to the window; there was a knock at the door.

A surprised vagabond stated that he had come by to read the Sunday Comics and see if there was any ghetto chile left. I said that there was no chile left to which he shrugged his shoulders, and quipped while walking over to read the curtains, "There goes Thanksgiving Dinner".

Texas Drifter asked isn't there some place else where you can go for Thanksgiving Dinner?

The response, "Not and be with friends; besides that, being put on display for publicity is advertising not compassion.

I suggested that the tramp take the curtains with him since I was busy. The response was "If I do that, nobody else will be able to see the funnies."

He then asked if he could turn on the radio. I responded that I had not seen a radio. The homeless man then walked over to the television and turned it on with the following remarks, "when it don't have a picture, it's a radio."

Upon finishing the "funnies," the homeless man walked over and turned the "radio off." As he was leaving, he said "this place won't be the same without our ghetto chile."

By this time, the instructor had reviewed all of the personal papers except the diary. The first twenty or so pages of the diary detailed how the deceased had been a working parent with a spouse who traded partying for the sanctity of marriage.

The deceased problems started when the adulterous spouse well known in Democrat Party, had retained a divorce attorney also a Democrat, to conduct a high profile bogus child abuse campaign against the deceased. The net result of this government assisted smear campaign was that the deceased losing his reputation, children, and job.

As the instructor was about to get lost in the diary, there was another knock at the door. This time the instructor was confronted by three homeless people asking if they might reclaim property they had loaned the deceased. Knowing that I had to get rid of the apartment's contents anyway; I said sure come on in and take what's yours.

Amazingly, no one started gathering up things until after they had finished reading the "funnies." I used this quiet time to continue reading the diary.

It seemed that the Democrat Party judge had set the deceased's child support payments at a rate based on deceased's salary before he lost his job because of the government's fraudulent child abuse investigation. The judge said that his Democrat Party court would not tolerate lazy child abusers.

The deceased was unable to find comparable work because employers are not inclined to hire suspected child abusers. This resulted in the deceased not being able to obtain employment and make the full court ordered payments.

A part time job and partial payments did not satisfy the Democrat Party judge who ordered the deceased to forfeit: their driver's license, vocational license, and all custody and visitation rights with his children. As this was not enough, the liberal lesbian judge also ordered the deceased to spend six months in county jail.

By now more homeless people were showing up to claim property previously "loaned" to the deceased. The "radio" along with all the small items were long gone by now. I found myself giving permission for the intruders to take the furniture and anything else they could carry off. My primary interest was in finishing the last few pages of the diary.

It turned out that the one week early court ordered release from jail for the deceased required medication based maintenance therapy from one of the judge's largest re-election financial contributors.

This led to the deceased being required to take more types of prescription drugs than street dealers ever dream of selling. The court ordered prescription drug abuse achieved the desired results, and eventually led to the deceased being classified as "disabled" by other bureaucrats.

The final words in deceased diary still haunt me: "They can destroy my career; they can take away my family; and they can even make me a drug addict; but Democrats can not take away my desire to help the less fortunate."

My reflections were interrupted by somebody asking about the rest of the drugs. I had completely forgotten about the icebox full of prescription drugs. As it turned out, none of the "dregs of society" had taken anybody's drugs but their own. The person asking me about the drugs wanted to know how long the place would be open so the rest of the people could come by and pick up their medications.

I informed the person asking the question that the electricity would be left on for the rest of the weekend. My response was followed by another question about taking up, the rest of the carpet for blankets since winter was only a few weeks away. Again my response was take what you need.

Within another couple of hours, the efficiency apartment had been stripped bare except for the icebox and the curtains.

An older homeless woman approached and said "it would be nice if you told everybody to leave the curtains as kind of a memorial.” After getting everyone's attention, I said that I had been given a suggestion that the curtains should be left as a memorial to a good person who made a difference.

One of the dirtiest of the homeless people said "thanks." To which I responded what for? The answer was simple, "for respecting what dignity we have left."

This Texas drifter's plans became closing out the deceased's utility accounts on Friday. Maybe that old man was right exploiting other people's misery for publicity is not charity?

Your Neighbors Nightmares – File 401 Final Part

Guessing reader has read File 401 Parts 1 and 2; will not repeat previous introduction items.

Scene: Meeting with Baby Maria’s Aunt and Uncle

Young Reporter to Aunt and Uncle: I have good news, horrific news, and strangest request anyone ever has or ever will ask of you. First, this medicine should, no guarantees, cure Baby Maria’s infection, and provide her the opportunity for a normal healthy life.

Young reporter Continues: Second, horrific news, Texas Child Protective Services has obtained a State District Court order to take custody of Baby Maria probably this Monday after Thanksgiving to place Baby Maria in foster care to euthanize her by not providing medicine in accordance with President Obama’s new health care system. Please let me finish, I also have three tickets on Underground Railroad to provide transportation for my self, Baby Maria, and a still unknown person out of Texas to safety.

Uncle to Young Reporter: Who would do this for Baby Maria?

Young Reporter: Not really sure, best guess is Baby Maria has covert friends in high places.

Aunt to Young Reporter: Giving Baby Maria to a stranger who shows up at our home unannounced is more than a strange request.

Young Reporter: When I got up this morning all I wanted was a good story for my first journalist assignment; now things have gotten out of control and I am part of the story, not sure what else I can say.

Voice from the Shadows: The third ticket is for me, I will take baby Maria and we will go with you. (Shadow voice steps into room.)

Young Reporter: do not mean to be rude, but you have green hair and an ear ring in your nose.

Aunt: The girl with green hair and an ear ring in her nose as you describe her is blood relative to Baby Maria; and is a deal breaker if my sister does not accompany Baby Maria.

Young Reporter: Say your good-byes; we need to get going to meet our Underground Railroad contact; and to think all I wanted was a good first story.

Author’s Intermission: Received telephone call from an old career associate this morning who informed me he had read Your Neighbors Nightmares File 401 Parts One and Two. Our conversation sanitized for family audiences went something like this: Marshall what is going to happen to Baby Maria? My answer not sure I have not finished writing the ending. His response, “Anything happens to Baby Maria and I will come down there and put the best whipping on you I can.” I responded you do know Baby Maria is a character in a story don’t you? You said “Your Neighbors Nightmares are non-fiction stories and I still remember what non-fiction means. Nothing bad happens to Baby Maria. Understand?” Don’t worry I prefer not meeting you in the shadows. After an old friend's non-causal warning; decided to re-consider ending for Your Neighbors Nightmares File 401 Final Part.

Scene: At Underground Railroad:
Person from shadows: Good all three of you made it. This envelope is your new identities' package. Inside you will find: three notarized birth certificates, one marriage license, one honeymoon photo, three social security cards, two driver’s licenses, two high school diplomas with transcripts, one four year college degree with transcript and one junior college diploma with transcript, eight thousand dollars in start over cash, one contact in Wyoming.

Person in shadows continues: do not ever return to Texas, it is a small world someone might recognize you; never contact any of your old friends or family members in any way, form or fashion. Break any of these rules and you could easily get Baby Maria, yourselves and other people medically euthanized as Obama’s Administration describes their treatment of conservatives and other “non-supporters”.

Person in shadows speaks to Girl with Green Hair: You will have to return your hair to its natural color, and lose the earring in your nose. Do not worry about your sister and brother-in-law; a Texas Child Protective Services worker has been framed and will be sent to jail for Baby Maria’s disappearance. Do not worry about the Texas Child Protective Services worker she is just being punished for crimes she will never be convicted of.

Shadow Person to Young Reporter: If you notice the wedding photo, you are the one with green hair and an earring in their nose. Texas Drifter said he hoped you found the photo as amusing as he does. Texas Drifter also told me to tell you two things: your new family comes first in your life; second, if you do not take care of Baby Maria and the Girl formerly with green hair; this is fact, Texas Drifter will include a role for your character in a story that will not be pleasant.

Since this is final part of File 401 some answers:
1. Baby Maria regained her health, and grew up to become America’s second woman conservative President, just when American citizens were starting to relapse back into Leninist-Obama fascism. Baby Maria’s eight years as President gave America’s Constitutional Republic decades more ethical capitalism with life, liberty, and pursuit of Judeo-Christian free will choices.
2. Young Reporter and Girl formerly with green hair lived prosperous spiritual lives while never divorcing and raising children that became legendary community leaders and community servants. Only mystery about their lives was why they always wore matching Halloween costumes involving green hair with ear rings in their noses.
3. Baby Maria’s Aunt and Uncle kept their government jobs, though some of Obama’s zombie followers felt their honesty and efficiency set bad examples for other government employees.
4. Sermundo started his own association for non-flamboyant non-gay barbers.
5. Texas Drifter is trying not to interfere in his short stories’ characters lives; not sure how long before Texas Drifter has another weak writing exercise moment.
6. What sick Leninist-Obama policy will his zombie bureaucrats unleash on Judeo-Christian parents who remove their children from public schools to have their children taught in private schools or home schooled?

Conservative Carbon Credits For Sale

Marshall’s Law Townhall Dateline – Could elected officials who do not think like Americans refuse to adopt government policies allowing citizens with small carbon foot prints to auction their carbon credits to private citizens with Godzilla sized individual citizen carbon foot prints?

This Texas drifter works and lives in a part of America where forty percent to fifty percent of residents are illegal immigrants and forty to fifty percent of population are American Hispanic citizens. The varying three to five percent of population are American citizens with Western European heritage.

One of pleasures of getting older is not having new pains in new places when getting up in the morning. After what started out as good day was brightened after over hearing following conversation between two American Hispanic citizens.

While waiting for my coffee to cool, a young American Hispanic citizen was over heard sniping at an older American Hispanic citizen: We are both American citizens so that makes us the same. The older man responded, “Both American citizens, yes, but with one difference. I think like an American and you think like a Mexican.” At which time the younger of the two got up and walked out.

Some examples of not thinking like an American. I had a friend whose daughter was a heroin addict. He used to give her money to buy heroin so she would not have to hook or steal for her drugs. He tried to explain to me that since I have no children I did not know what it was like to have a child you loved addicted to heroin. I agreed that he was right about that, but suggested that giving his daughter money to buy heroin could only lead down a road to bad places.

Also knew an individual who while serving in combat was forced to leave his best soldier behind to provide cover fire; so the rest of the squad could return to predestinated pick up site. The associate told me that he knew giving the order to stay behind was the last order he would ever give one of the best men who had ever served under his command.

American citizens are facing two choices: one, encourage volunteer deportation of illegal immigrants or face due process forced deportation of illegal immigrants. This policy will result in sending many illegal immigrants to return to being robbed, raped, and murdered upon being returned to Mexico and some other third world countries.

Second choice, failure to deport all illegal immigrants will result in the destruction of America’s Constitutional Republic as only reason Leninist-Obama Democrats want to provide amnesty to illegal immigrants is so voting rights that will come with amnesty insure Democrats perpetual control of America’s municipal, county, state, and federal political institutions.

My loyalties are easy to illustrate, I did not create problem: Moderate Republicans like Bush and McCain along with Socialist Democrats created problem. Also I took an oath to uphold protect and defend America’s constitution from all enemies domestic and foreign not serve some corrupt Mexican aristocracy. Undeniable fact: Mexico's aristocracy has been promoting it own citizens to flee to United States as relief valve to delay inevitale class based revolution in Mexico.

Purpose of these examples is to remind conservatives that sometimes choices extend beyond good and bad; sometimes decision choices include unpleasant and worse. Requiring illegal immigrants to leave voluntarily or by due process force is not a pleasant decision; allowing them to stay and be Leninist-Obama Democrat voters which will destroy America’s traditions, values, and Constitution is worse for America than having them go back home and apply to re-enter America legally.

Leninist-Obama Democrats on other side of issue only believe in two choices as defined by political correctness: what makes us happy and you know "what" for America and everyone who disagrees with our enlightened Democrat Party Socialist Fascism.

One good example of people who seem to share Democrat Party government is God syndrome is City Hall for one South Texas town. City Hall’s public drinking fountain does not work, and City Administrator’s refuse to provide water to public citizens regardless of race or age from city employee’s recreation room as the Administrators can only be called burrocrats. Name of town may be released at later date depending on Texas Drifter’s mood.

Other examples include decisions made by Obama’s Administration for Democrat Party’s public subsidy addicts and zombie followers. Readers can develop their own list of not best decisions for America's traditions, values, and Constitutional Republic by Obama Administration.

Time for “Think Like American Case Study”: If environment polluting countries like U.S. should buy carbon credits from non-polluting third world countries, it seems reasonable that the concept be expanded to private American citizens.

Example Texas drifter owns no vehicles, and lives in Free Spirit fifth wheel that operates only on DC not AC power. Since Texas Drifter barely leaves infant’s carbon foot prints; why should Texas Drifter not be allowed to auction off his individual carbon credits to someone like Al Gore who leaves Godzilla carbon foot prints?

The Texas Drifter thinking like an American can then use proceeds he gets from selling his carbon credits to Al Gore to purchase products that cause Texas Drifter to recycle his proceeds by buying carbon credits from other citizens. Seems like a good way to rebuild America’s economy. All that needs to happen is for America’s political officials to require that Hollywood celebrities and other Greenist hypocrites like Pelosi be forced to buy carbon credits from conservatives.

Since there is no “blue book” for individual carbon credits, I will let market place determine value of my carbon credits: number of credits is determined by size of carbon foot prints. The smaller foot prints return larger number of carbon credits.

Since Texas Drifter is leaving really small infant carbon foot prints, number of his carbon credits is huge almost beyond public school students’ ability to comprehend. Will start bidding for my carbon credits from liberals for fifty thousand dollars. Since I do not care for liberals, I will start bidding from conservatives for ten thousand dollars. Payment must be made in American cash, no checks, credit, or debit cards.
