Two For One - Fun Exam and Public Service Announcement

Fun Exam:

Test your knowledge on drilling for oil in Artic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). A true or false exam based on facts that conservatives should pass and liberals who can not understand truth will fail.

True / False 1. Only 8% of ANWR Would Be Considered for Exploration Only the 1.5 million acre or 8% on the northern coast of ANWR is being considered for development. The remaining 17.5 million acres or 92% of ANWR will remain permanently closed to any kind of development. If oil is discovered, less than 2000 acres of the over 1.5 million acres of the Coastal Plain would be affected. That¹s less than half of one percent of ANWR that would be affected by production activity.

True / False 2. Revenues to the State and Federal Treasury Federal revenues would be enhanced by billions of dollars from bonus bids, lease rentals, royalties and taxes. Estimates on bonus bids for ANWR by the Office of Management and Budget and the Department of Interior for the first 5 years after Congressional approval are 4.2 billion dollars.

True / False 3. Jobs To Be Created Between 250,000 and 735,000 ANWR jobs are estimated to be created by development of the Coastal Plain.

True / False 4. Economic Impact Between 1977 and 2004, North Slope oil field development and production activity contributed over $50 billion to the nations economy, directly impacting each state in the union.

True / False 5. America's Best Chance for a Major Discovery The Coastal Plain of ANWR is America's best possibility for the discovery of another giant "Prudhoe Bay-sized" oil and gas discovery in North America. U.S. Department of Interior estimates range from 9 to 16 billion barrels of recoverable oil.

True / False 6. North Slope Production in Decline The North Slope oil fields currently provide the U.S. with nearly 16% of it's domestic production and since 1988 this production has been on the decline. Peak production was reached in 1980 of two million barrels a day, but has been declining to a current level of 943,000 barrels a day.

True / False 7. Imported Oil Too Costly In 2004 the US imported an average of 58% of its oil and during certain months up to 64%. That equates to over $150 billion in oil imports and over $170 billion including refined petroleum products. That¹s $19.9 million dollars an hour! Including defense costs the number would be nearly a trillion dollars.

True / False 8. No Negative Impact on Animals Oil and gas development and wildlife are successfully coexisting in Alaska 's arctic. For example, the Central Arctic Caribou Herd (CACH) which migrates through Prudhoe Bay has grown from 3000 animals to its current level of 32,000 animals. The arctic oil fields have very healthy brown bear, fox and bird populations equal to their surrounding areas.

True / False 9. Arctic Technology Advanced technology has greatly reduced the 'footprint" of arctic oil development. If Prudhoe Bay were built today, the footprint would be 1,526 acres, 64% smaller.

True / False 10. Alaskans Support More than 75% of Alaskans favor exploration and production in ANWR. The Inupiat Eskimos who live in and near ANWR support onshore oil development on the Coastal Plain.

True / False 11. The 19 million acre Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) lies in the northeast corner of Alaska. The entire refuge lies north of the Arctic Circle and 1,300 miles south of the North Pole.

True/ False 12. The Coastal Plain area, comprising 1.5 million acres on the northern edge of ANWR, is bordered on the north by the Beaufort Sea, on the east by the U.S. Canadian border, and on the west by the Canning River. The Kaktovik Inupiat Corporation and Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (both Alaska Native corporations) own 94,000 acres in the Coastal Plain surrounding the village of Kaktovik.

True / False 13. At its widest points, the Coastal Plain is about 100 miles across and about 30 miles deep and covers an area slightly larger than the state of Delaware. Along the coastal area, the plain is an almost featureless expanse, barren and dotted with thousands of unconnected small ponds; the area to the south becomes gently rolling, treeless hills which merge into foothills and then into the northern edges of the Brooks Range.

True / False 14. There is a Native population of about 220 residents at Kaktovik, a village on Native owned lands at Barter Island, adjacent to the Coastal Plain and within the boundaries of ANWR. If ANWR was a state, it would be larger than 10 other states

True / False 15. ANWR Refuge Facts - "Since North Slope oil resources represent a quarter of U.S. oil reserves, the need to access them has accelerated development of environmentally responsible, cost-effective practices and technologies. If Prudhoe Bay were developed with today's technology, its footprint would be 64 percent smaller: the drilling impact area would be 74 percent smaller, roads would cover 58 percent less surface area and oil and gas separating facilities would take 50 percent less space."

Public Service Announcement: 132 word visual writing exercise to promote National Security through common sense. PSA Script: conservatives who like the following can re-use when and how they choose.
****
- Listen and learn, I am talking just too you.
- What does half of one percent mean to you?
- What half of one percent means to me, (insert your name).
- Half of one percent equal fifty cents out of one hundred dollars.
- Half of one percent equals eighteen seconds of a sixty minute lunch hour.
- Less than half of one percent equals less than two thousand acres out of nineteen million acres in Artic National Wildlife Refuge.
- That is right, less than two thousand acres will be temporarily affected and eventually be returned to original conditions after providing oil that will make tens of millions of Americans lives better.
- Conservation is good for America and Americans. Environmental Greenism is good for neither America or Americans.

A little background on my interest in managing natural resources through conservation, a derivative of word conservative. The first word I learned as a child was “outside”; the outdoors was my first and still is favorite place to be.

After barely turning sixteen, I took first place in a science fair by creating a natural product to kill boll worms based on my premise that natural immunity limitations can be expanded for other projects. One of the judges told me that my research was “brilliant wasted science” as no one would be interested in my work since pesticides were so cheap.

Years later, my ACP formula for security weapons systems started with naturalist observations. My ten years as a civil legal investigation manager involved defending companies being attacked by frivolous multi- million dollar lawsuits based on scientific fraud.

I have also conducted off the books naturalist research on single celled dinoflangellates known as pfiesteria. Both the Soviets and American during the Cold War spent millions trying to weaponize pfiesteria into an aerosol weapons system. They were both wrong as they should have been trying to identify genetic codes which makes pfiesteria so unique, its ability to camouflage itself. Simple farmer’s son logic, one cannot solve a problem one cannot find. American should be grateful the Soviets were as short sighted as we were.

Sooner of later, even pilgrim luck runs out. The greatest ignored future threat to America is biological weapons used by Islamic terrorists, rogue nations like Venezuela, or imperialist driven nations like China.

Most recent conservation interests include growing South Texas native plants from seeds. Followed by working as a ranch security scout capable of managing native landscapes. Maybe getting older is making me grouchy, even so I am losing patience with those who believe that dangerous ignorance should be tolerated with compassion simply because fools mean well.

Conservatives can learn conservation basics with no financial costs. Go to writesafe.com to view to new gallery then enter “marshall” in data base then to Volume III: Dreams to Bonus Selection Spy As A Verb: Art and Ethics of Surveillance to “Investigating Environmental Terrorism”. A long way to go, but the information should provide lessons worth the trouble. The choice is yours, learn about conservation principles which can be trusted based on results; or turn to environmentalist Greenism based on Marxist-fascism.

Uncle Sam Needs You With David’s Faith

Recent publishing of my writing exercises by theconservativevoice.com has resulted in some calling me a revolutionary. The conservations tend to go like the following.
Passer-by: John, how is the only revolutionary I know?
John: I am not a revolutionary.
Passer-by: Aren’t you a conservative?
John: Contemporary conservatives are not revolutionaries, true revolutionaries were Independents of England, America’s Founding Fathers, and those who fought and died in Texas War For Independence.
Passer-by: What are you then a counter revolutionary?
John: No, counter revolutionaries are those opposing or fighting against the values, principles, and traditions of America’s successful Revolution. You know people like socialist liberal Democrats, internationalist moderate Republicans, counterfeit conservatives, Greenists, and Islamic Fascists.
Passer-by: Well then if you are not revolutionary or counter revolutionary, what are you?
John: I guess I am a counter-counter revolutionary or C2R for short. I confront those trying to destroy the values, principles, traditions and Constitution paid for with blood and suffering by those starting, enduring, and winning America’s Revolution.

More about the different sides in America’s contemporary political arena, first are wealthy liberals who are driven by guilt for what they feel is their undeserved wealth. Next, poor liberals whose politics are driven by selfish greed believing that all successful people earned their property by stealing from the poor.

Moving down the list are moderate Republicans who are driven by selfish greed and who are willing to sacrifice America’s national security by using internationalism to destroy America’s domestic manufacturing base a perquisite for winning any major war. An old but true adage, want to drive a moderate blue blood country club Republican totally insane, do not steal a thousand dollars from them, steal a penny from them. Beware most moderate Republicans are inclined to pass them selves off as counterfeit conservatives.

The third group is conservatives who base their lives and goals on America’s values, principles, traditions, and Constitution. Conservatives are people who know that ethical capitalism is the best economic system created by man, while unethical capitalism is one of the worst, unethical capitalism is stealing which violates the Ten Commandments. Example, giving a starving man ten dollars for a hundred dollar horse is not shrewd business, it is stealing.

Conservatives’ future will be threatened by an alliance of liberal Democrats and moderate Republicans. Doubt this observation, The Republican Party’s 2008 Presidential candidate Chamberlain McCain is advocating reaching out to Democrats. If Republicans wanted to reach out to Democrats they would become Democrats. Chamberlain McCain by accepting the Left’s Greenism and other economic policies is a conservative in name only.

The key to America’s future is people of conservative viewpoints joining together, people like conservative Republicans, conservative Democrats, conservative Libertarians, and other believing in God, Country, and Constitution. Differences can be tolerated until the America last crowd is a declining political force.

As there will always be Goliaths, there will always be those representing David’s faith. The most obvious “David” in contemporary America is America’s oil producers. The best example of leaders of America last crowd being unpatriotic internationalists and hypocrites are their attempts to destroy American oil producers. American internationalists believe in free trade so long as the most successful are not American companies. Compare size of American oil producers to world’s largest oil producers.

Knowing the difference between unethical capitalism protected by monopolies and shrewd business decisions are definitions most Americans do not understand. Not only do America’s private sector oil producers have to comppete with larger foreign government monopolies. America’s oil producers also have to deal with socialist Democrats, a mob of moderate Republicans wanting to be liked by a news media promoting Marxist-fascist Greenism, and government bureaucrats and Hollywood liberals too blanked up to know they are blanked up.

America’s least known example of David-Goliath odds, involves those publicly declaring to be counter-counter revolutionaries (C2R). Explaining not complaining all this nearly worn out sometimes senile old farmer’s son has for weapons limited by his oath to the serve by Constitutional rules are “stones” occasionally published by theconservativvoice.com

Those familiar with “stones” I have been fortunate enough to have published by theconservativevoice.com know I am a realist not an optimist. Perhaps and just perhaps, if America’s oil producers keep distracting the America last crowd; perhaps and just perhaps, Americans with David’s faith may be able use some of my stones to slay the America last crowd with truth.

On a brighter note, the nice thing about being America’s first and so far only publicly declared counter-counter revolutionary (C2R), most in the America last crowd consider me a harmless laughable sometimes senile old man.

Hopefully America’s conservative Republicans will rediscover David’s faith before or at their Presidential convention and send Democrat light counterfeit conservative Chamberlain McCain home; then these still inspired Republican delegates will nominate a conservative for President that makes Uncle Sam smile and think, finally Republicans are starting to live up to their blessings.
