America’s Trojan Horse

Unlike Hollywood which glorifies and promotes decadence and promiscuity, Shakespeare wrote about the horrors of human frailties. Words used to have specific meanings. In contemporary America words tend to have diluted messages.

Consider how the definitions of the following words have evolved into general pleasantries: love, honor, hero, and friend. Another example is "loan" which references pride in good credit. In actuality, a loan really represents involuntary indentured servitude which is synonymous with voluntary slavery.

Another diluted word is victory. Example, victory in the Middle East following 911 included two goals, one killing terrorists and disrupting or destroying terrorist organizations while buying time to build up America’s Homeland defenses. Just as no one can ever claim that America’s Armed Forces did not do their jobs; no one can ever claim that America’s politicians did their jobs by building up Homeland defenses to prevent further attacks on domestic soil by foreign terrorists. When future events verify my observation, I sincerely hope that American citizens hold Democrats and Moderate Republicans to severest punishments for modern history’s greatest example of greed driven dereliction of duty.

Diluting some words like principles can have horrific unintended consequences. Compromise half your principles today, half your principles tomorrow, and half your principles day after tomorrow, and it will not be long before you have no significant principles to compromise. The results are that you will end up like an untrained animal if you consider standards a way of training humans.

Another word which changes meanings when compromised is conservative. Consider the impact on America’s Constitutional Republic coinciding with increase of citizens who are conservatives in name only. You can not become a conservative by default. You do not become a conservative by renouncing liberalism, socialism or greenism.

A great many citizens trying to pass themselves off as conservatives are in reality, frauds or counterfeit conservatives. You can create your own list of conservative imposters. The following character traits might help with your own writing exercise. The two primary qualities of counterfeit conservatives are greed and vanity.

First greed which includes aristocrats, country club or “blue blood” Republicans, people who are conservatives for business connections or to make money promoting patriotism or conservative retail products, and unethical capitalist willing to put America last for internationalist profits.

Second character trait is vanity which includes moderate Republicans and counterfeit conservative snobs. The first group is primarily interested is being popular with right social crowd. Another collection are people wanting to be considered compassionate, for those who take the position that the Bush Administration should not be held accountable for their failures because they are “nice people who mean well”.

Final part of second character trait includes self appointed self righteous intellectually and culturally superior conservative intellectuals better know as plastic conservatives. It is true, as leftists have their snobbish professors and Hollywood elite; conservatives also have their own collection of spoiled obnoxious adults with two year old personalities again better known as plastic conservatives.

There are four requirements for being traditional not counterfeit or fraudulent conservatives. Item number one, knowing what conservative principles mean starts with understanding history of conservative principles:
- There would have been no U.S. Constitution without the Bill of Rights;
- No Bill of Rights without Declaration of Independence;
- No Declaration of Independence without Independents
- No Independents without Reformation
- No Reformation without Christianity
- No Christianity without Ten Commandments
- No Ten Commandments without Heaven

Even though the preceding principles among “free will” decision making citizens may be expressed in different specific beliefs, traditions, and values; conservative core principles tend to be similar. Consider differences between President Jefferson and President Adams.

Item number two: live to best of one’s abilities by conservative principles, knowing that oaths to Heaven are good motivator. Consider standards and sacrifices of past American generation leaders like Washington, Jackson, Lincoln, T.R. Roosevelt, Depression / WWII citizens, and Reagan. Now consider America’s recent leaders: Carter; Clinton, and Bush II to be followed by Chamberlain McCain or Obama’s sponsor’s Greenism.

Item number three: be willing to defend conservative principles accepting the premise that security is apolitical and non-ideological. A lesson many Americans refuse to learn is that citizens who ignore national security spend too much time at cemeteries. Americans who support a porous Southern border should remove all locks and alarm systems from their homes and motor vehicles. Moving on from item number three, most Americans will individually not start caring about border security until they grow weary of identifying dead family members.

Item number four: share conservative principles with future generations with: historical examples and lessons, examples of personal life experiences, spoken words, and written words. Since virtue is learned not inherited, teaching conservative values is as important to the next generation as defense is too contemporary generation.

America’s Republic is not immune from the lessons of history. Sometimes all the hippie like false hope based on optimism in the world will not change an inevitable ending. Pessimism is about giving up, mentally curling up into a ball, and waiting to be put out of misery. Realists know they may not be able to change the ending, but sure believe they can delay the inevitable.

Future historians recording future history will document that America’s Trojan Horse was counterfeit conservatives like the Bush II Administration and possibly Chamberlain McCain Administration masquerading as conservative Republicans. Let us not forget to include all the counterfeit conservatives better known as Bush II and Chamberlain McCain collaborators. Those who think I am off base need only compare true, real, genuine, actual, valid, authentic, veritable, rightful conservative principles to what both Bush II and Chamberlain McCain stand for based on their actions and seemingly fraudulent never kept promises.

Explaining not complaining, my approaching senility has affected my memory processes. Did not Shakespeare write that a rose by any other name is still a rose? Having asked that, do not black and white roses look different? Traditional conservatives and counterfeit conservatives may both call themselves conservatives, but are not the results of their actions as different as black and white?
