Who Can Save America?

The British were fortunate or lucky; they had Americans to rescue them from their Chamberlain compromises. Who can save America from Chamberlain McCain compromises?

There are two types of faith, heavenly and earthly. There are three kinds of earthly faith: one based on unrealistic hope; second based on no-realistic hope, and third based on realistic hope.

Examples: unrealistic hope, waiting for General Houston to send reinforcements to the Alamo; the plan was to tie up Mexico’s Santa Ana as along as possible at all costs to provide Houston time to turn irregulars into a viable one battle army.

As for the no-realistic hope held by Colonel Travis at the Alamo, and Nathan Hale in America’s Revolutionary War, both Hale and Travis knew the inevitable outcomes of their free will choices.

The third kind of earthly faith is based on realistic hope. Conservatives can replace Chamberlain with a conservative candidate who will not compromise almost every principle held by conservatives, Reagan Democrats, and other Americans. Doubt my conclusions about Chamberlain McCain, examine the following: who McCain chooses not to criticize, who are McCain’s allies, and McCain’s own public statements.

Giving McCain credit for being honest although he misrepresents himself as a conservative; most conservatives, Reagan Democrats and many other Americans cannot in good conscience support McCain’s goals for America. The dominant issue is not McCain’s integrity, rather the integrity those who would vote against their consciences.

Another question, who can save America from Chamberlain McCain’s compromises? The correct answer is not France, any Middle East Islamic country, Mexico, or China. Depending on any country other than America to defend America is beyond unrealistic hope.

Question, why would patriots like Hale and Travis put themselves in scenarios defined by no-realistic hope? Maybe they believed in faith with long term realistic hope? I try to put together writing exercises as if I were talking to you in person.

No one is asking you to risk being hanged as a spy. No one is asking you to leave your family forever, and buy your republic precious time behind crumbing walls of an old church. What I am suggesting is you consider spending at least one hour a week writing letters, sending e-mails, making phone calls, and calling talk show hosts encouraging Republicans to engage in “primary nullification” at their national convention.

Why, to give conservatives, Reagan Democrats, and other Americans the opportunity to elect a President who will remain loyal to those who elected him.

There are thirty weeks more or less until the Presidential election. Just one hour a week for each one of an estimated one million volunteers for thirty plus or minus weeks; thirty plus million hours of patriotism, now that is faith based on realistic hope.

Back to original question, who can save America? Answer election year alliance among conservatives, Reagan Democrats, and other Americans.

Almost everyone remembers great American leaders like Washington, Houston, Lincoln, and Eisenhower. Truth be known, it was unnamed Americans at Valley Forge, Alamo, Gettysburg, and too many other battles to list that made some Americans famous leaders.

Leaders are more easily defeated without motivated loyal followers. America’s near future will be determined by unnamed conservatives, unnamed Reagan Democrats, and unnamed other Americans having the opportunity to vote with a clear conscience in America’s 2008 Presidential election.

There is an old adage comparison that optimists see a glass half full and pessimists see a glass half empty; as for realists, we do not see any glass. A little between the eyes truth, based on the history of other republics, America’s 2008 Presidential election, at best will possibly delay for a long time the inevitable collapse of America’s Constitutional Republic and at worst hurry the inevitable along.

Another historical lesson, great democracies have not tended to resurfaced in same geo-regions. The have been no “second” great Athens or Roman democracies. As odd are against over populated third world countries, maybe America can be the exception and eventually become the world’s next great constitutional republic. That is why it is important for conservatives to document weaknesses that caused America’s first constitutional republic to become history.

Sometimes repetition is an appropriate teaching tool. Who can save America? Answer election year alliance among conservatives, Reagan Democrats, and other Americans.
