Three Texas Officers Plus Two

The three most recognized military officers during Texas War for Independence were and still are General Houston, Colonel Travis, and Colonel Bowie. What most people do not know is that these three military officers did like each other even a little bit.

Houston and Travis both publicly stated that they never did like each other. Bowie reportedly told Houston that his strategy to win the war was the dumbest blanking thing he had ever heard.

Travis and Bowie made a gentleman’s agreement to settle their differences in a duel to the death when the war was over. Something to ask yourself, why would two men who were willing to kill each other during peace time be willing to die fighting side by side behind the crumbling walls of an old church?

The primary distinction between most liberal Democrats and most conservative Republicans is as simple as understanding distinctions between supporting evil out of greed, vanity, or hate; and tolerating misinterpretations of shared principles by free will decisions.

This writing exercise compares people who live by principle and those who live for principal. Houston, Travis, and Bowie all understood that sharing common principles based on free will decisions with people does not mean you have to like or socialize with them.

Contemporary example, I do not even a little bit like Bush II’s strategies on fighting terrorism, immigration reform, expanding government socialism in name of compassionate welfare, of trade policies which are destroying America’s domestic manufacturing base and private sector middle class.

I believe the man has based decisions on bad advice from foolish advisers and misinterpreted almost every principle we share in common. The only thing that matters is that I took an oath to uphold, protect, and defend America’s Constitution form all enemies domestic and foreign, and Bush is a Constitutionally elected President.

What separates Bus II from Marxist Democrats and internationalist compromising Republicans is Bush II is reportedly a man trying to live by principles, while Obama, Clinton, and McCain live for principal.

Prejudice cuts both ways, not voting for Obama because of race makes one a racist. Voting for Obama solely because of race also makes one a racist. The same also applies to Clinton, voting for her solely because of gender makes one a sexist.

Question, why are conservatives who do not vote for Obama or Clinton called racists or sexist, while minorities and women who vote for Obama or Clinton only because of race or gender not called racist or sexist? Answer, some people like Marxist Socialist Democrats not Reagan Democrats, are too blinded by their own prejudices to know they are racist or sexist. Translation people who are too blanked up too know they are blanked up.

Truth be known, most conservatives are not supporting Obama or Clinton because of race or gender, rather both are Marxist Socialist Democrats. The unbearable truth for liberals is that most are supporting Obama or Clinton solely because of race or gender. Another truth be known. The percentages of racists and sexists among minorities and feminists are much, much higher than among conservatives.

Time to compare Marxist Democrats and internationalist compromising Republicans to accomplishments of conservative Republicans and Reagan Democrats; populists are not included in comparisons simply because mob rule results in anarchy like that of French Revolution.

Starting with destructive Marxist Socialist Democrats’ policies: more public sector discrimination; more societal prejudice; more promiscuity; more broken families; more bigger and incompetent government bureaucracies; permanent welfare class; destruction of private sector middle class; weaker military; pampering terrorists; more illegal immigration; lower public health standards; more public health pandemics; more crime; reduction of constitutional standards and inalienable rights reaffirmed in Bill of Rights; and less healthy environments from environmental fascism. The list could be added too, but I will leave that up to you.

Moving on to failed policies of internationalist compromising better know as moderate Republicans. Results are minimally different than Marxist Socialist Democrats as a Chamberlain McCain administration will reaffirm.

One, incompetent war against terrorism strategy (not post event conclusions rather observations made before Bush II invaded Iraq) the primary valid objective was to buy time to improve Homeland security defenses.

Best strategy would have been to put majority of resources in Afghanistan to permanently crush and eradicate Taliban, then lease isolated easily defendable terrain for fifty years to establish base to harass and destroy neighborhood trouble makes like Iraq, Iran, Syria, or help allies like Israel, Egypt, Turkey, or Pakistan all the while improving America’s homeland defenses.

The proper strategy while and after setting up base in Afghanistan should have been while proceeding with primary objective building America’s Homeland defenses: gather intelligence on terrorists world wide; counter intelligence covert operations to weaken terrorist organizations and get terrorists to start killing each other; track down and kill terrorists at every presented opportunity; and continue killing remaining terrorists as future examples for terrorist collaborators.

Better overview of popular term “surge”. Surge options are intended to compliment team manager or commander’s options: hold position at all costs; total retreat (preferablely controlled); retreat to meet reinforcement in route; total advance to victory; advance to certain point and wait for reinforcements to catch up; or manage position for status quo.

Bush’s advisers apparently convinced him to use enough troops in Iraq and Afghanistan to win war but not peace; while at same time ignoring building up Homeland’s defenses. Ever heard of porous borders and amnesty which encourages illegal immigrants to flood into America while providing cover for terrorists to enter America?

Bush’s surge was designed to manage bad press not by winning rather getting Iraq militias to temporarily cease attacks. Iraq militias will only provide stability until American troops leave; similar to what happened n Yugoslavia when Tito and the Soviets were gone.

Bush’s continued actions of not securing America’s Southern border while inciting illegal immigrants to primarily leave Mexico will only delay eventual violent revolution in Mexico and guaranteed terrorist attacks on American soil. Obviously a future fact know by Bush’s advisers, why else would the Bush Administration redefine terrorist attacks based on number of casualties? Terrorist attacks killing small numbers of Americans have been reclassified as hate crimes.

Continuing with internationalist compromising policies: government controlled economic policies to build America’s economy on consumer debt with the Federal Reserve using government not market interest rates; increase public slavery using compromises with Marxist Democrats using propaganda concepts like compassionate welfare; allowing corporations to expand socialism in America by using only part time employees to pass on employee benefits to tax payer supported programs; tolerating and promoting unethical capitalism; promoting war profiteering like opposing Iraq Anti War Profiteering Act; Putting America’s national security last by supporting internationalist trade treaties which destroy America’s domestic manufacturing base and destroying America’s private sector middle class; more illegal immigrants; establish a new tri-country state among Mexico, Canada, and United States and trading America’s Constitution for internationalist corporate feudalism; could gone on but the point has been made.

Now to the good part conservative accomplishments based on equal opportunity without privilege based on life, liberty, and free will: created Declaration of Independence; won America’s Revolutionary War; created and adopted Constitution and Bill of Rights; Monroe Doctrine; supported Texas War for Independence; Manifest Destiny; fought Civil War to end private sector slavery not establish public sector slavery; settled West; revolutionized industrialization that introduced America to world as superpower; T. Roosevelt’s conservation policies; T. Roosevelt’s anti monopoly policies; won World War I; survived Great Depression; won World War II; won Cold War; expanded capitalism world wide; built world’s wealthiest nation; led and still lead world’s scientific and technology revolution; world’s leading hope to destroy terrorism; my point made, I am sure theconservativevoice.com readers can add many more of their own examples.

As for the question of being able to tolerate Bush II and not being able to tolerate Chamberlain McCain, there are infinite differences between misinterpreting principles and misrepresenting principles for principal. Winning a political campaign nomination by fraud is no more acceptable than getting to keep a stolen car because you did not know it was stolen when you bought it.

There are two ways to keep Chamberlain McCain from being Republican Party’s 2008 Presidential candidate. Remember primary choice does not have to be final choice. First, offer one million dollar bounty for information that results in McCain withdrawing from race.

Second, convince delegates to engage in “primary nullification”; ever heard of jury nullification, same concept. Delegates vote no for McCain on first ballot; then stand back and watch rebirth of Republican Party (may not be pretty but results should be good for future American history).

As a Texas licensed private sector surveillance instructor, I can teach conservatives how to recognize threats and how to defend themselves. Three things I had not counted on, reminding many conservatives they have a right to defend themselves, families, country and Constitution from bad guys. Second thing I had not counted on, reminding some conservatives what they stand to lose if bad guys win.

Finally, free will can cause different individuals to interpret same principles differently. Three Texas military officers plus two Founding Fathers, Jefferson and Adams, taught us that prudence requires defeating common enemies before settling personal dislikes or differences.
