Here is an unsolicited suggestion to improve one’s writing skills. Always write about what you believe to be true. The same advice holds for both fiction and non-fiction.
Several decades ago I started reading a mystery novel. The writing exercise was properly structured and well written. I lost interest in the work when the author described in exquisite detail how the murder weapon was “by luck” found in a native coconut palm grove near the beach at low tide on South Padre Island, Texas.
Only problem is there are no coconut palm groves, especially “native coconut palm groves” on South Padre Island, Texas. The totally untrue information caused me to lose faith in the rest of the author’s story.
Another example, fire is hot; or would you rather read that the blazing almost hypnotizing camp fire was not hot enough to blister a new born baby’s skin.
All the adjectives or well used adverbs compiling the world’s largest thesaurus can not convert an obviously incorrect statement into truth.
Being an individual who has spent most of their professional career working along America’s southern border, I can assure you that much criticism of the “border fence” is based on hypocrisy of racism, unethical capitalism greed, and or contempt for American traditions rather than physical security.
A small but sizeable percentage of America’s minority citizens are still emotionally devoted to the concept: Anglo against Hispanic racism is wrong though Hispanic against white or black racism is acceptable.
A recent example involves a South Texas mayor whose opposition to the border fence could be Hispanic against Anglo racism, simple greed and or contempt for American traditions.
The mayor’s comments that three thousand dollars offered by the federal government to border land owners to survey locations for the fence was “blood money” represents actions of one whose priorities are serving Mexico or greed, certainly not America.
The mayor has the right to express his not in America’s national security views. The federal government has the right based on taxpayer demands to not provide the mayor’s town with a single federal dollar.
Parents are not inclined to reward children for bad behavior, so why should American communities that provide loyalty to foreign governments like Mexico receive benefits from American taxpayers by way of the American people’s federal government?
Back to my unsolicited suggestion, an example of truth in non-fiction followed by an example of truth in non-fiction.

My personal private record includes never being cheated by a stranger; rather friends, neighbors, and associates. Hopefully my pilgrim’s experiences contribute to security in your life.
Greatest threats to America’s Constitution, sovereignty, and security are not known threats like Islamic Fascism, narco terrorists, illegal immigrants, or Democrat Party Socialism, rather “closet” unethical capitalism.
Never forget, it was Republican Party elected leadership that opposed the Anti War Profiteering Act for Iraq War. Why, possibly because elected Republicans did not want to see contributors prosecuted for stealing American tax payers blind during Iraq War.
Back to unethical capitalism, buyer beware is a concept that seems to justify capitalism based on stealing. Your author is not suggesting citizens should not know how to be good consumers or make wise deals, rather that starting a system based on stealing violates spirit of Ten Commandments.
It is a myth that capitalism and socialism are chronic enemies. The statement applies to ethical not unethical capitalism. The truth is that unethical capitalism and socialism are often ideologically related.
Consider the issue of public health insurance, and how private business and socialists are both beneficiaries. Private business executives stand to make increased profits when they transfer employee health care cost to public tax payers though government programs. American citizens need to recognize that unethical capitalists have no problem becoming corporate feudalists allied with socialists if they can increase profits – remember Enron?
What will follow are personal based experiences of unethical capitalists; perhaps it might be entertaining for the reader create a separate list of personal experiences they have had with unethical capitalists.
The following includes activities by friends, neighbors, and associates:
- negligent death of mother to acquire profits from unnecessary flu shot
- holding father’s death certificate hostage until hospital bill paid
- fifty year neighbor requiring twenty thousand dollar collateral and one hundred percent interest on four hundred dollar loan
- some car washes seem toxic work sites only hiring retired people with pre-existing medical conditions who are unable to seek civil relief from hazardous working conditions
- replacing American citizen workers and paying illegal wages to illegal immigrants for agriculture, landscaping, metal fabrication, and construction jobs
- real estate brokers who misrepresent closing date, amount of down payment, amount of interest, fail to make scheduled payment on time, and safety of property in neighborhood to potential buyers
- ranchers injecting life stock especially quarter horses with drugs to increase performance capability which enhances sales value
- friends taking a cut or stealing retirement or disability benefits, this is becoming more common as American age
Enough of my list I am sure readers can create their own list with different examples.
I must add one more example of organized unethical capitalism represent a real estate partnership of two people surrounded by those along for the ride so long as they received a small share of unethical profits.
The following activities observed:
- evicting Hispanic families, ok to pay them illegal wages just did not want them living in neighborhood
- trying to evict white working families with children
- making living conditions difficult for parent with child serving in Afghanistan
- tolerating Hispanics operating power tools while intoxicated on cocaine to “make up for their cultural stresses”
- making retired people with aging problems leave, onset of their dementia is so depressing
- tolerating theft by gang members who “paid rent on time” to steal from blue collar workers
- building unsafe buildings with appealing cosmetic appearances to make selling property easier
- removing fifty year old trees at their trunks were two inches across property line
- not honoring employment contracts with American citizens to use cheaper labor
- condescending treatment of middle class citizens
Could continue but I will allow reader to again develop their own list based on real world experiences. As most Islamic
people do not denounce Islamic terrorists, most so called American traditionalists do not denounce unethical capitalists.
Choosing a winner is easy when the race is over. Future historian will record that people who denounced unethical
capitalism before it was popular too, were either nuts or citizens of integrity.
Will make my next entry more about writing entertaining fiction as opposed to future history based on current events.

Abstract reality: infinity is reserved for Gods, not humans or human conditions. America’s Republic will fade into obscurity as have the world’s other republics Greek, Roman, and Texan.
The collapse of America’s Republic is being caused by socialist Democrats, unethical capitalist Republicans (example Texas Governor Perry), illegal immigrants and those who just do not care.
When you get old in depreciating health and your life’s love, parents, brothers, sisters, and close friends are all deceased and children just do not fill the void, this writing exercise will offer more substance.
America’s political melting pot can be described as follows:
1. Thirty five percent socialist Democrat Party voters
2. Thirty five percent unethical capitalist Republican Party voters
3. Ten percent do not care apathetic citizens
4. Twenty percent live and let God judge non prejudicial citizens trying to get through life best they can while believing in American traditions and ethical capitalism.
5. Illegal immigrants, the political correct number is twelve million the more accurate number is closer to thirty to forty million. Greed brought illegal immigrants into America and greed can send illegal immigrants back home.
A voluntary deportation plan based on asset forfeiture of all illegally earned assets combined with mandatory prison sentences for employers is the easiest way to solve problem.
Readers need to understand unethical capitalist Republicans tend to support
American Internationalists who can never be patriots.
Words convey specific meanings patriot is one who places the interest and safety of their country or nation before all other countries or nations.
Internationalism break word down inter- nation, among equal nations. Al-ism believes nations all are equal, a concept totally opposite of patriotism.
Most defenders of capitalism ascribe capitalism as an amoral system. Truth is unethical capitalism is no more virtuous than socialism or fascism.
An alternate example not all relatives are family. The author has people drifting in and out of his life claiming to be family, but who are in reality little more than relatives.
Unethical capitalists can be encountered on different levels. One level unethical American Capitalists threaten nation security by opposing national security and destroying America’s domestic manufacturing base.
How, opposing border fences which insure porous borders, and second depriving America of the opportunity to domestically manufacture items necessary to win wars.
Unethical capitalists can be found at the personal level among relatives, friends, neighbors, associates, church members, passers by and others.
The body is growing tired which affects the brain. Hope to have more soon.
